Izabella Georges

Izabella Georges was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs before moving to Arizona in 2019 to pursue a legal education, drawn to the ethical and moral questions underlying our justice system. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University with an emphasis in philosophy, then returned to ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law to complete her Master of Legal Studies with an emphasis in family law. Along the way, she gained hands-on experience at a criminal law firm in Chicago, which helped her identify family law as the niche where she wanted to build her career. She now holds all the requirements to become a Legal Paraprofessional in family law and has spent the past two years working as a family law paralegal, deepening her practical knowledge of the field before taking the bar and practicing on her own. She has continued to invest in her professional development through CLE participation, including the Maricopa County Bar Mock Trial CLE.

Izabella’s interest in family law is personal as well as professional. Having grown up in a split-parent household with siblings, she experienced the family law system firsthand, giving her direct insight into how it works and genuine empathy for the challenges families face when navigating it. That experience shapes her approach to her work: she’s committed to bringing compassion, patience, and clear communication to every family she helps, understanding that behind each case is a family working through one of the hardest chapters of their lives.

Outside of work, Izabella enjoys playing video games, baking desserts, and spending time with her family and dogs, Chip and Maple. She’s especially looking forward to this next chapter, as she and her partner prepare to welcome their first baby girl.
