“A Wise Woman Can Predict The Future because she creates it

Anonymous

Elizabeth Medina, born and raised in Arizona, has led a dynamic and service-driven life that reflects her passion for helping others and making a meaningful impact on the Latin Community. Her early experiences include traveling to Ecuador on a medical mission trip, where she assisted doctors in providing basic care to underserved communities. She later lived in various parts of the country, from serving as a youth pastor in Tennessee; working as a chef at a self-sustaining yoga retreat center in Hawaii and pursuing a music career in Nashville and New York City. While working for Disney, she found profound joy in bringing happiness to the chronically ill children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

With over 20 years of experience in the legal field, Elizabeth has worked her way up from a phone intake specialist to a seasoned paralegal. Her career has spanned multiple areas of law including personal injury, bankruptcy, patent law, employment law, and now family law, where she feels especially called to make a difference. She is deeply involved in Arizona’s legal and Hispanic communities through organizations like the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and “Los Abogados” The Hispanic bar Association where she was recently appointed to multiple boards.

In addition to her legal career, Elizabeth is highly engaged in civic and philanthropic work. In 2025 she was appointed as a Glendale City Arts Commissioner where she oversees major funding for community art projects; she is a member of Scottsdale’s Influential Women of Arizona supporting several charities; finally, through a charity pageant she is the reigning Ms. Classic Southwest 2025.

Through it all, she remains committed to inspiring the Latin community to pursue their dreams. Elizabeth’s short-term goals include becoming a licensed legal paraprofessional in family law, running for City Council, creating a scholarship fund in her parents memory and raising her two kinship foster children to be good people.
