Tommy M. Chávez

Paralegal

“Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water. You put water into a cup; it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle; it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot; it becomes the teapot. “Now water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

— Bruce Lee

Tommy M. Chávez brings a rare blend of discipline, empathy, and organizational mastery to his role as a Paralegal. A proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Tommy’s professional journey has taken him from military service to earning degrees from Pima Community College and the University of Arizona, where he double-majored in Interdisciplinary Studies and Psychology. He later added a Paralegal Studies Certificate from Phoenix College. With extensive experience on the civil law side of things, particularly in personal injury, Tommy has played a key role in securing millions of dollars through legal settlements and court-ordered judgments. He is also fluent in both English and Spanish, a skill that allows him to connect with a wider range of clients.

Tommy’s path to family law is deeply personal. Having experienced a household affected by divorce as a child, he understands firsthand the emotional and logistical complexities involved. He also knows the detrimental effects on family and friends who are often caught in the crossfire, which fuels his professional mission: to bring a compassionate, empathetic perspective to every case and to serve clients in navigating their own challenges with clarity and confidence. His background in psychology helps him not only understand the legal issues at hand but also the human element, treating every client like a friend or family member whose story is unique and meaningful. Throughout his career, Tommy has received several awards for excellence and accomplishment, reflecting his dedication to transforming complex situations into streamlined, workable solutions.

Outside of work, Tommy’s interests span from the active – gym workouts, hiking, and paintballing – to the strategic, like playing Age of Empires. He’s a fan of movies like The Shawshank Redemption and shows like Better Call Saul, and his culinary tastes are as diverse as his travels. Most importantly, he prioritizes time with family and friends, knowing that relationships are the most valuable investment of all.
