LaKiesha Phillips

Paralegal

Excuses are tools of incompetence used to build bridges to nowhere and monuments of nothingness.
– Vernon Brandage Jr.

LaKiesha Phillips is a seasoned Paralegal who recently joined The Valley Law Group. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, LaKiesha made the move to Arizona in September 2023, bringing with her vast experience in the legal field that dates back to 1996.

Prior to joining our firm, LaKiesha served as a Paralegal in the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for Juvenile Law in her hometown, where she handled a variety of cases, including juvenile delinquency, Child Abuse and Neglect, and Drug Court cases. She also gained significant experience working for the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office in the Juvenile Section.

Despite her passion for law, LaKiesha chose to pursue an academic path outside the legal field. She holds a master’s degree in Pastoral Theology, which she obtained from Faith Bible College in 2019. Her commitment to helping others achieve their best selves is a testament to her dedication to service, a quality that makes her a valuable addition to our team.

When she’s not immersed in legal work, LaKiesha loves to read and spend quality time with her family and friends. As a new Arizona resident, she enjoys exploring the breathtaking beauty of the state in her free time. Her ability to balance her professional and personal life is just one of the many reasons why we are thrilled to have LaKiesha as part of The Valley Law Group.
