Sophia L. Bennett is a dedicated family law attorney with extensive experience advocating for clients across Arizona. Her practice encompasses all areas of family law, including divorce, asset division, child custody, child support, cases involving domestic violence, and juvenile and dependency matters. Known for her compassionate and strategic approach, Sophia guides clients through emotionally challenging legal issues with diligence and care.
Prior to joining The Valley Law Group, Sophia practiced at private family law firms in both Mohave and Maricopa Counties, where she developed a strong foundation in litigation, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution. She has handled a wide range of complex family law disputes, as well as has represented parents and children in dependency cases and served as counsel in Drug Court proceedings, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
Sophia was admitted to the Arizona Bar in 2019 after earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago John Marshall Law School, where she also completed a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution and received multiple academic honors. She also holds a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Gender and Women’s Studies from the University of Arizona.
