Borrowing from her experience as a former child welfare prosecutor, Adriana Orman is adept at working with individuals navigating challenging circumstances through thoughtful, strategic, and zealous advocacy. Adriana uses her legal skills to protect the rights and interests of families faced with having to navigate the complexities of the judicial system.
In law school, Adriana was the recipient of various accolades, including placement in the top 16 oralists of the National Native American Moot Court Competition at UC Berkeley and being awarded the Student Merit Award upon graduation. Her clinical experiences included having interned at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid’s Youth Law Project in Minneapolis and interning at the Center for Law and Education in Washington, D.C. Adriana also served as the Primary Editor of the Law Journal of Public Policy and Practice in her 3L year.
Prior to law school, Adriana was a public school elementary teacher on the Navajo Nation, where she grew up. While not working, Adriana finds fulfillment in spending time with family, going on nature walks, and sampling different taco food trucks. Adriana is also fluent in Spanish.
