Carson R. Lester was born and raised in Oak Park, California. Through Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, ultimately earning the rank of Eagle Scout, Carson developed dedication, determination, and discipline in the rugged outdoors of the West. In high school, participating in the YMCA’s Model Legislature and Courts Program (“Youth and Government”) inspired him to pursue a career in law.
During his undergraduate studies at Northern Arizona University, Carson focused his research on cultural development and international relations. He lived in Siena, Italy in the summer of 2018, completing his minor in Italian and exploring Europe’s arts and histories. At the University of Oregon School of Law, he conducted research on emerging issues in Water Law and International Arbitration. Carson also gained practical experience as an intern with the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, the law firm of Lester, Schuck, Becker, Dehesa, and Hirschberg in Camarillo, California, and as a certified law student with the Lane County District Attorney’s office.
Working first as a paralegal and later as an attorney in bankruptcy law, Carson embraced the role of “counselor,” ensuring his clients had a voice, an ear, and support when needed. He firmly believes the best way to solve one’s own problems is by helping others. Carson strives to provide Arizona residents with compassionate and determined representation during their toughest challenges. Outside of his legal practice, Carson enjoys watching movies, reading, and cooking for family and friends.
