Katelyn Morgan

Katelyn Morgan (“Katie”) is a Partner and Managing Attorney– Family Law Division at The Valley Law Group, where she leads the firm’s East Valley operations. A Colorado native, Katie aspired to become an attorney at a young age and has built her career around strong advocacy, leadership, and client-centered representation in family law matters.

After graduating high school, Katie moved to Flagstaff to attend Northern Arizona University, where she graduated Cum Laude with a dual major in Criminology and Criminal Justice and Sociology, along with a minor in Speech Communications. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in the Arizona Innocence Project, investigating claims of wrongful conviction, and interned at a local criminal defense firm, further solidifying her commitment to the legal profession.

Shortly after graduating, Katie attended law school on scholarship. While in law school, she served on the Executive Board of both the Student Bar Association and the Women’s Law Association. She was selected by her professors as the recipient of the school’s Mission Pillar Award for exemplifying student outcome centeredness, practice readiness, and service to underserved communities.

Katie currently serves on the Board of the Young Lawyers Division of the Arizona State Bar and is licensed to practice law in both Arizona and Utah. As a Partner and Managing Attorney, she plays a key role in firm leadership while continuing to advocate for families with diligence and compassion through some of the most stressful and emotional times of their lives.
